Sub-Saharan Africa
Our ambition is to encourage community reporting in all countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. First of all we focus on the English speaking countries. So far we have empowered 30 community reporters in Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya and Tanzania. In 2010 we carried out training projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and South Africa. In 2011, we started two countries projects, one in eastern DR Congo and one in Zimbabwe
Regional Coordination
Voices of Africa Media Foundation has regional coordinators for East and West Africa who are responsible for establishing local partnerships, selection of trainees, conducting workshops and providing technical support. Meet our regional coordinators.
