Training materials
We develop our own training materials focusing on using the mobile phone as a powerful multimedia reporting tool. The materials are relatively easy to understand and are designed to fit the taste of young Africans. Voices of Africa Media Foundation publishes new editions of its DVDs and magazines twice a year. The materials are in English. In addition, we operate our own online training platform.
Training DVD
We teach the viewer how to make high quality web videos with a mobile phone. We show good and bad examples accompanied by feedback and recommendations. We believe that trainees learn most from watching their peers' previous experiences. Have a look at the preview of the second training DVD below.
