Zimbabwe: 11 trained in mobile reporting

From 12-16 September 2011 Voices of Africa Media Foundation (VOAMF) trained 11 Zimbabwean young men and women on mobile community reporting, on behalf of Free Press Unlimited and Radio Dialogue


Bulawayo_training.JPGOlivier Olivier Nyirubugara, a senior VOAMF trainer and coach together with Edward Kwame – a Ghanaian alumnus of the VOAMF’s training program, discussed various issues and techniques, and provided both theoretical and practical insights into mobile reporting.


The reports made during this 6-month training will be published on the website of the Zimbabwe Community Radio (Zicora). The eleven trainees are the first members of the Zicora Mobile Reporters Network.
