South Africa joins mobile reporting proj

Voices of Africa Media Foundation, in partnership with Johannesburg-based ABC Ulwazi and with sponsorship from The Hague-based Bernard van Leer Foundation, has launched a six-month mobile reporting training programme in South Africa, where six journalists followed a kick-off workshop from 11-13 August in Johannesburg.

Voices of Africa Media Foundation in partnership with Tanzania Media Fund has launched its second phase of mobile reporting training in Tanzania, where five more trainees joined the project after a four-day training in the capital Dar es Salaam. Kenya-based Khamis Ramadhan, the Foundation’s coordinator for East-Africa, conducted the training in late March.

Voices of Africa Media Foundation has launched its fourth phase of mobile reporting training in Kenya, where five more trainees joined the project after a four-day training. Conducted by the Foundation’s coordinator for East-Africa, Khamis Ramadhan, the training covered the basics of mobile reporting, including the technicalities of the mobile phone.
