Rick Felderhof (1948): “I am a Friend of Voices of Africa Media Foundation, because it is of crucial importance that honest and fast information exchange can take place.”


Rik Felderhof nieuw.jpgRick is known as the master of the good conversation. He started his media career with NCRV (Dutch Christian Radio and TV Broadcaster) in 1970, just like his father Herman Felderhof. Rick initially made TV shows for children and later worked for the radio. In 1990 he switched to television, where he became successful with De Stoel (The Chair), in which he portrayed extraordinary people. In 1996 Villa Felderhof followed, for which he received a Gouden Televizierring (Golden Television Award) in 1998. In November 2004 he was the last one to interview Dutch prince Bernhard. In 2006 he launched his own magazine Felderhof, which stopped in March 2010. He produced a series Schrijvers op de Veranda (Authors on the Veranda) that was recorded in and around his own home in Tanzania that has a view on the Kilimanjaro. Currently Rock Felderhof divides his time between Bonaire and Tanzania.


Erik van Muiswinkel (1961): "I am a friend of Voices of Africa Media Foundation, because a free, well informed press is a life condition for a healthy society. Regardless of what China tries to tell us."


Erik van Muiswinkel.jpgErik van Muiswinkel (1961) is an artist, actor, singer and tv presenter. He became well known because of his contribution to humorous Dutch TV shows as Ook dat nog!, Kopspijkers, Studio Spaan and more recently Van Zon op Zaterdag. Together with Justus van Oel en Eric Eygenraam he formed the cabaret group Zak en As that won the honourable Leids Cabaret Festival in 1985. He performed in theather together with Diederick van Vleuten until 2009. As singer he performed with VOF de Kunst and recently with Omnibuzz. In 2008 Erik was in the news because of his request to boycott the Olympic Games in China due to the bad human rights situation. Van Muiswinkel is an active cricket player. His three children play cricket at a high level. Erik has visited South Africa various times. He welcomed a South African student in his family for years.
